Check out the Home page for some recently added photos of the Park loaded on flicker.  It's a great site for picture taking, relaxing, and learning about German and early 1900 heritage.  And, since the pipe organ in the Church is newly tuned and repaired, you who are so talented, can fill the Church with beautiful music.

Manning Heritage Park Tours

Boasting tourists from all over the nation, and even some from beyond our country's borders, the Manning Heritage Park has built a reputation of providing guests with an enjoyable experience that has been described time and time again as "just like a mini-tour of Germany."

Manning Heritage Park

This beautiful and unique attraction, located in West Central Iowa, is easily found just off Hwy. 141 on the east edge of Manning. The three jewels of the site include the 350-year-old authentic German Hausbarn, the early 20th century American Bungalow style home and farmstead, and the beautifully preserved historic Trinity Church which was recently moved from its decades-long home in the middle of the country seven miles south of Manning to Heritage Park.

In addition to the historic attractions, Manning Heritage Park also has a modern Konferenz Centre that provides clean, new handicap accessible restrooms, a large hall for meetings or catered meals, and a dining room with a beautifully-crafted stone fire place for a welcome coffee. In addition, the facility houses the quaint Roten Bär Tavern and the Schön Herzen Gift shop.

The parking accommodations are generous which gives easy access to large tour busses and/or cars. We enthusiastically provide a German costumed tour guide and walking tour of the three historic sites located within easy walking distance of each.

We are located within 25 miles of Elk Horn's Danish Windmill and Museum; Audubon's Albert the Bull statue; Coon Rapids, an Iowa Great Places Community, and Carroll's renovated, historic Railroad Depot.
