The hausbarn was simply amazing. It is incredible that something built in the 1600's and moved several times was so intact and in such good condition. Very... read more interesting and informative to see such an authentic piece of history and how farmers lived in that era. Also on site is a beautiful century old farmstead complete with carriage house, barn, and something I've never seen before, a brick chicken coop. There is also a large display of antique farm equipment. The house is filled with beautiful woodwork, cut glass, and furnishings. Hard to imagine such a fine home for the time period in such a rural area. Really enjoyed our visit.
